WHAT A RIDE —— gematik 2019-2024 Based on a newly written self-image, #gematik has been transformed into a modern company facing our partners since summer 2019. Many employees have redesigned their working mode competently, fresh & approachable. New functions have been set up. Modern technology installed. New faces have added more diversity, joy of color and inventiveness to the gematik. We grew from around 270 to 430 heads. Both #FederalHealthMinisters as well as the #Bundestag and #Bundesrat have confidently strengthened gematik and given it additional powers. The path from the locked house with rigid waterfall procedures to an open gematik with the will to modernize the core infrastructure #TI and finally introduce convincing products was invigorating for us and at the same time full of internal and external resistance. And this path has not yet come to an end. We want to get even closer to the user and create even better interoperability. And we are happy to become more and more an attractive #employer for clever minds. Results are, for example: • For the first time, a gematik product was set up on international standards: The e-prescription #eRX with #FHIR is therefore basically EU-connectable and it will finally work in the course of 2024 as for years known to our 17 EU-neighbors. • gematik has approved all providers of digital #health #eIDs for insured persons until the end of 2023, which will now be rolled out in 2024. This is the basic condition of a contemporary digital experience for all of us in the country. • The dialogue on "#ePA for all" is perceived by all dialogue partners as open and constructive and we have delivered the concept in a timely manner in accordance with the law. • As a secure mail procedure, #KIM is already used by over 130,000 colleagues every day for eDoctorLetter, EBZ and eAU with other specialist procedures and sectors are in the starting blocks • Our TI messenger #TIM is based on an internationally proven security protocol and will experience many providers with uniform #matrix.org. That reflects well our way forward: uniform thus more reliable infrastructure - allowing multiform market offerings tailored to different needs. • The first high-speed connector is approved and the TI gateway is coming. • A TI 2.0 is about to become a reality. • The #InterOp-Council will be expanded into a competence center. And: With #DEMIS (German Electronic Reporting and Information System for Infection Protection), we have now digitally connected all laboratories, health offices and other reporters to the Robert-Koch-Institut #RKI. For over 60 reportable infections - from Anthrax to Zika virus. Now we can competently counter their distribution with a daily updated #PublicHealthService in the future.
