Following the highly successful launch of MADISON + WALL on Friday (a fictionalized company that really teaches Finance to Marketers), we got the initial green light from CFO George Benaroya for $4M (play money) for a pilot episode of a new comedy drama about the world of office intrigue! In the first episode of Elsbeth, an awesome spinoff of The Good Wife, a crime is solved (spoiler alert coming -) thanks to a text message analysis. As I'm quite obsessed with writing well and being clear with one's messaging, I found it really interesting. Then I realised I am acting just like that criminal - I too use double space between sentences/paragraphs in my whatsapps. Elsbeth says in the show this is how "older people" communicate. Can't argue there - younger people tend to communicate without a breather, they speak fast and swallow words and write similarly. But it doesn't matter how old you are, and if you're a criminal or an innocent innovator, add some spaces on all forms of messaging in order to be clear. #storytelling #messaging CBS

Just got coverage back on my post-apocalyptic sitcom, Loving Life: "Throughout the pilot, the situational comedy of having our characters rebuilding life within a post-Deadhead world creates additional gory humor. Within this pilot, there are already themes potentially explored within the next episodes, including themes of resiliency and potentially a restructuring of class within the setting of Los Angeles.... Overall, I found this pilot incredibly unique in premise and theme, with the biggest strengths here being the whip smart dialogue among some witty, complex characters."
