🗣 "People remain at the center of our responsible AI progress." To advance AI responsibly, we need transparency in many different forms. Our Responsible #AI Transparency Report is a step toward more clarity around our AI governance processes and focuses specifically on how we build generative AI systems responsibly, how we make decisions about releasing these systems, and how we learn and thus evolve our program. 2wAs with environmental, social, and governance risks, implementing systems of constant improvement to mitigate AI-related risks does, as you say, improve results. Glad to see that Microsoft had continued to address the Gen-AI issue of inventing information—it’s frustrating to check a quote or a source and find that it’s not right. Also love the encrypted image meta-data feature. People deserve to know what’s real and what’s AI generated — the fact that Microsoft stands up for the end consumer of the content says a lot.
