Vice Chair and President at Microsoft Corporation

I was pleased and honored to return to my home state of Wisconsin to announce that Microsoft is investing $3.3 billion in Racine County between now and 2026 to build an advanced Cloud and #AI data center campus. We’re putting our resources, scale, and expertise to work to create new jobs, train people with AI skills, and advance an AI-powered future across Wisconsin and beyond. We’re also investing to create the country’s first manufacturing-focused AI co-innovation lab with the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee and TitletownTech, and will bring AI skills training to more than 100,000 people in partnership with the United Way of Racine County and the State of Wisconsin.  While this isn’t the only data center that Microsoft is building, I must admit it’s one of my favorites. From the age of nine to 14, I lived with my family just down the road from where it’s being built. I attended Racine Public Schools and I know how special this community is. Without its support, we wouldn’t have been able to get this project off the ground. This project is proof that a big company like Microsoft can build a strong foundation to support every business and nonprofit everywhere. It is also a great reminder that we are a country where people can come together, work together, address hard challenges, and we get great things done. We are excited to be on this journey together with President Joe Biden and the people of Wisconsin.

Hello Vice President Brad Smith I hope this message finds you well. I wanted to extend my heartfelt congratulations to you and the entire Microsoft team on the recent announcement of the $3.3 billion investment in Racine County. This initiative not only demonstrates Microsoft's unwavering commitment to innovation and job creation but also showcases the power of collaboration with esteemed institutions and organizations like the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, TitletownTech, United Way of Racine County, and the State of Wisconsin. I am particularly excited about the investment in the advanced Cloud and AI data center campus, as well as the creation of the country's first manufacturing-focused AI co-innovation lab. These initiatives not only showcase Microsoft's dedication to advancing technology. On a personal note, I am currently working on a future project in AI and Deep Learning models aimed at saving lives from cardiac arrest. I believe that this project could be a valuable addition to the Innovation Lab, benefiting for communities worldwide. If you find the project aligns with Microsoft's vision and goals, I would be honored to provide a project introduction for your consideration. Regards, Vignesh S

The funny thing is that the training of AI will put a lot of people out of business and you talk about jobs. Google and other companies most likely Microsoft as well, has fired or "trimmed" a lot of people in advertising and other areas. For example, because AI can take over much more efficiently and better and more and more professions and humanoid robots will bring pressure on human workers being replaced by AI that can do things better and cheaper and 24/7. Elon said AI and robots will do things better than humans. This new data center is to expand the AI learning to put people out of work. But temp construction jobs yes thats good Eg: true machine reasoning coming: https://www.popularmechanics.com/technology/robots/a60806576/new-ai-discovery/ Alao tte Deception of Ai companies is real: https://youtu.be/vQChW_jgMMM?si=299CBFJkcCOeXg2u
