One of my favorite solo projects I created was GamePlank, a live streaming platform for gamers and developers. It opened up possibility to a whole new level (no pun intended) and truly made me believe that anything is possible when it comes to web development and creativity. The platform allows gamers to play their favorite games and interact with a viewing audience through chat in real-time. Viewers can subscribe to various channels to support the streamer and use custom emotes in chat that were created by the streamer. Originally built in a Windows Server environment with ColdFusion and Microsoft SQL Server, later transformed to a LAMP stack, WebSockets for live chat and real-time notifications, and an HLS live streaming server in Nginx for the live video feeds. Subscription payment processing custom-coded with the Stripe API. If you're a gamer, sign up and have some fun with it! https://gameplank.tv

The one thing in a Mac that I can't live without is Xcode's Instruments - in particular, the time profiler. Quite often, I've taken advantage of it for profiling code meant for other platforms (sometimes very limited, Embedded and bare metal ones). Sure, it won't provide you with accurate metrics due to it not being bare metal, the processor having all sorts of quirks and optimizations on micro code, etc; but it sure gives a good approximation, just enough to guide my efforts. Clion's wrapper around perf is not bad, but not precise enough. And as I type this, I realize that I got to give Visual Studio a try. Given my usage for supporting Xbox builds, it's probably trivial
