I've been part of the #Salesforce family for the past two years. A family that accelerates success by providing the resources, knowledge, and values that stand firm within an organization. At Salesforce, I was surrounded by talented individuals who live and breathe innovation, empathy, and collaboration. We celebrated triumphs, faced challenges, and learned from each other, pushing the boundaries of what's possible. I have been fortunate to contribute to fantastic projects that made a real difference. I had the opportunity to attend Dreamforce! And in 2022, we had the BYOML (Adrian Fallow) as a top performer for the Atlanta Hub! The ultimate goal for me. But behind every achievement was a team (Brian Barnett, Patrick Pierre, Phillip McIntosh, MBA, Michael Bellamy ☁️, Nathaniel R. Causley III, MBA, Abraham Davis, Steven Gartner, MBA, Elizabeth Rees, Clarence Hawkins), a mentor (Morgan Cesbron), and leaders that make an impact (Zach Ciliotta-Young, Lynn Knaak ☁). So many more to name, and if I forgot you... in the words of Jerry Macguire, "You complete me". They taught me that true success is not about outshining others but lifting them. That's the Salesforce way, and it's a lesson I'll carry with me forever. I'm incredibly grateful to everyone at Salesforce for their trust, mentorship, and most importantly, the customer-centric focus. You've helped me grow both professionally and personally in ways I could never have imagined. As my tenure at Salesforce has ended, I'll fondly look back to the man and Account Executive I've become due to their culture of innovation. While this message is bitter-sweet, a part of me will always wonder where my career would have led me at Salesforce, I feel confident in the decision I made to take on a new opportunity that will appreciate the strengths and skills I've come to learn. (More on this later) To my Salesforce family, thank you for an unforgettable two years. To my new team, I can't wait to get started. To my customers, I'm confident our relationships will maintain. 🎉 Celebrating 18 Years in the Salesforce Ecosystem! 🎉 Wow, this month I celebrate 18 years in this amazing Ohana. As they say, time flies when you're having fun! I'm filled with gratitude for the journey, the challenges, and the growth it has brought into my life. As I reflect back, there is a lot I could share about what helped get me to where I am today. Here are my top 18 pieces of advice: 1. Own your career - Set goals and take action. Claim your seat at the table. 2. Know your worth - You matter and you bring tons of value. 3. Specialize and excel - Become an expert in your niche. 4. Seek mentorship - Learn from those who've walked the path. 5. Network persistently - Opportunities arise from connections. 6. Embrace risks - Growth lies beyond your comfort zone. 7. Make your voice heard - Your ideas and opinions matter. 8. Embrace discomfort - Imposter Syndrome signifies growth. 9. Ask questions - Curiosity fuels progress. 10. Ditch perfectionism - Done is better than perfect. 11. Set boundaries - Respect your time and energy. Teach others how to treat you. 12. Prioritize well-being - Leave work at work. 13. Learn from mistakes - They're stepping stones to success. 14. Failure is only feedback - Keep moving forward. 15. 🎉 Celebrating 5 Incredible Years at Salesforce! 🎉 Today marks an incredible milestone in my journey with Salesforce, and I couldn't be more grateful for the enriching experiences, challenges, and growth opportunities along the way. As I reflect on the past five years, I wanted to share five invaluable lessons that have shaped my approach to work and life: 1️⃣ Bring Your Authentic Self to Work: Embracing authenticity has been a guiding principle throughout my tenure. By staying true to who I am, I've fostered genuine connections, built trust, and contributed to a culture of inclusivity and belonging. 2️⃣ Find Opportunity in Moments of Chaos: Amidst the chaos, there's often untapped potential waiting to be discovered. I've learned to embrace challenges as opportunities for innovation, creativity, and growth, turning setbacks into stepping stones toward success. (See: 2020) 3️⃣ Be Adaptable Because the Only Constant is Change: Change is inevitable, but it's our response to it that defines our trajectory. By remaining adaptable, I've navigated through dynamic environments, seized new opportunities, and continued to thrive in an ever-evolving landscape. 4️⃣ Sell as if You Were the Customer: Putting myself in the shoes of the customer has been paramount in delivering exceptional experiences. By understanding their needs, challenges, and aspirations, I've cultivated meaningful relationships and delivered value-driven solutions. 5️⃣ Never Stop Learning: The pursuit of knowledge is a lifelong journey. Over the past five years, I've been intentional about embracing a growth mindset, continuously seeking opportunities to expand my skills, broaden my perspectives, and stay ahead in an ever-changing industry. Dear Network, Today marks my 5 year anniversary at Salesforce, the longest I have ever been with any company ⏳ . Salesforce is all about changing, adapting and creating and I do not lie when I say that there is never a dull moment - neither are there many easy days 😅 . Since 2006 I am loyal to my customer base - the EU institutions 🇪🇺 , later joined by NATO and after that by the Belgian Public Sector 🇧🇪 . Digital Transformation has shaped our private lives over the past years significantly and we start seeing a positive impact in the Government Sector - it is a privilege to be part of this journey. Some of the things in a career that IMO always hold true are: we always (always!) deal with people. Listening to and acknowledging the other person’s position is important. Trust is earned and integrity goes a long way. And as we deal from human to human, be yourself. Being yourself, myself in my case actually, comes with challenges too. With the realization that I really am bad at many things. With the realization that this is ok, as long as I communicate about my weaknesses with clients, colleagues and superiors. It also comes with the realization that after many years in business, regularly ‘muscle memory’ kicks in and one can trust oneself and one’s experience. And, very importantly: it’s OK to be not OK - supporting your team members is paramount. Asking for support is absolutely fine. Because a career is a marathon, not a sprint. Smell the roses every now and then 🌹. There are so many people at Salesforce I would need to mention here as you make my work rewarding and fun - so I keep it at (the slightly lame I know I know...) ‘You Know Who You Are’. However there are three individuals who made me boomerang back to Salesforce three years ago and I want to you to know that I never looked back! Thank you from the bottom of my ❤️ Amy Weaver, Casey Coleman and Kevin Paschuck! In conclusion (of my probably longest LinkedIn Post ever - but I am ready to stand corrected should you dig one up) I am grateful and happy to be part of Salesforce. Would I do it again? Hell yeah! TLDR: Andreas is 5 years at Salesforce and pretty stoked about it 🚀

Celebrating my second anniversary at Salesforce and reflecting on my journey. I have a few things to share. Firstly, finding an organization where your goals align is rare, and I feel fortunate to be part of one that prioritizes being a Good Human, saving the earth, and loving the customer. Secondly, change is inevitable, and in the past two years, I've navigated through various situations that have brought resilience and grit. Thirdly, patience is the key, and just like boiling eggs, things take time to cross the stages of storm and norm. Fourthly, false hope is a trap, and it's essential to reject it if it's not in action. That time I got fired by a client... 💼🚪 ...was one of the best things that could have happened for me! Early on in my consulting days, I was brought onto a #salesforce project where I'd be working with a very prominent client. I was over the moon excited to have this opportunity and I thought to myself, this is going to make my career! 🏆 When going over roles with my team, I was assigned to be the "notetaker" I was instructed not to say anything during our discovery sessions. 🤐 This felt a little odd to me, but being new and a Jr. Consultant, I didn't want to rock the boat with the Seniors on my team. 🤷🏻♀️ So, I flew all the way to New York City (several times), to sit in a meeting room and do what I was told to do: just. take. notes. 📓 No surprise, a couple of weeks later, the client fired me from the project for not bringing any value to the team. ❌ In the moment, I was devasted. Confused. Embarrassed. I "should've" known better, right? 🤦🏻♀️ But that experience was such a great lesson for me to learn - a couple of them actually: ✨ Trust your gut ✨ Ask the questions ✨ Speak up/speak your truth It made me realize to be successful, I had to let go of the belief that my voice did not matter, and it is vital for me to speak up because what I have to say does matter...
