So... it seems that Zoom is using what you share and how you share it on their platform for their own purposes. This is according to section 10.4 of their new updated terms. Even worse, it seems there is no opt-out. There are pretty good and secure alternatives out there for substitutuing Zoom, for example Compodium's solutions (https://www.compodium.com). Update: since I wrote this post it seems like zoom has rolled back some of their changes to their terms and now excludes user content from their processing.
