What an incredible #GoogleIO! The Gemini era is officially here ✨ We shared the incredible #AI progress we’ve made, with all of our 2-billion user products now using Gemini to build even more helpful features. We gave updates on our Gemini models, built from the start to be truly multimodal, and we announced that Gemini 1.5 Pro, with long context, is now available to all developers and also users of Gemini Advanced, so sign up now! We spoke a lot about the opportunities we see with AI agents, to truly give everyone really helpful assistants, and we shared Project Astra, an early glimpse of what that could look like. We also introduced Veo, our video generation model from Google DeepMind, opening up a whole new world of creative possibilities, check out VideoFX, powered by Veo, and lots more on labs.google. There’s so much more! #Gemini is also supercharging Search, Gmail and other Workspace tools. We are rolling out AI Overviews in Search, we're exploring AI agents to handle tasks like online shopping returns (yes!) and address changes, and soon you will be able to ask Google Photos questions about your memories. Throughout it all, our commitment to responsible AI development remains at the forefront – we believe the transformative power of AI can improve lives and make the world a better place, if approached boldly and responsibly. We are still in the early days of this platform shift, but there is so much opportunity ahead, for creators, for developers, for startups, for everyone. I/O 2024 was a testament to our AI-first approach to helpfulness. We have world-leading infrastructure built for the AI era, cutting-edge innovation in Search, products that help at extraordinary scale, and platforms that enable everyone to invent the future. And we’re just getting started. A HUGE shoutout to Marvin Chow, Tara Back, Nicholas Drake, Alison Wagonfeld, Robert Wong, Kevin Proudfoot, Danielle Tiedt, Jeffrey Whipps, Dex Hunter-Torricke, Jonathan Johnsongriffin and so many more on our teams for delivering our best I/O yet. We could not do it without our phenomenal crew of marketers. Your dedication and passion are the driving force behind our work. I have been a user of Gemini from the beginning and have seen how quickly it is developing. Its implementation with Google Search has already transformed the SGE. As someone in the core industry, I use Gemini in my daily activities, from finding content ideas to updating marketing techniques. I can't wait to see what Gemini has in store next.

It's a new era of streaming *and* a new era for AI. Looking forward to seeing what's next!

It’s been great to watch the evolution of AI – it's sort of becoming less and less of an enigma to the everyday consumer. The full suite of services is going beyond business operations functions and now targeting everyday users by finding use cases to further improve day-to-day activities like refining online searches and online shopping.
