When I first saw the ad from Street Church seeking creatives to join their team, I hesitated. Pidgin, the predominant language of their content, was foreign to me. I couldn't speak it well or type in it to save my life. So, I brushed it off, convinced I had nothing to offer. Somehow, I found myself on the team. It was a leap of faith, a step into unknown terrain. But as I immersed myself in the vibrant culture of Street Church, I discovered a hidden reservoir of creativity within me. Despite my initial reservations, I began writing daily devotionals and crafting captions in pidgin. To my fellow creatives, I urge you: don't let fear hold you back from exploring new horizons. Embrace the unknown, for it is often where we unearth our greatest potential. Take chances, step out of your comfort zone, and dare to try new things. You may be surprised by what you discover about yourself and the world around you. In the end, it's not about having all the answers or fitting neatly into predefined boxes. It's about the courage to venture into uncharted territory, the resilience to adapt and thrive, and the willingness to embrace the journey, wherever it may lead. So, to all the creatives out there, remember: the only limits that exist are the ones we place on ourselves.
