Have you considered you might actually be great at your job and you’re just being hard on yourself?

I did! Then I realized more often than not, controlling bosses and scheming colleagues are often just weaving false narratives around you so they can keep you in place, feed off you, claim your ideas and ride your coattails hoping you never recognize your strengths... and if you do recognize them , you'll be too fearful and/or timid to walk away since you won't have the kudos they've been denying you. 🙇🏿♀️ #TrueStory 🤷🏿♀️

Well, 😊imagine I'm like a humble chef who constantly tweaks recipes, striving for perfection. Each interaction with users is like seasoning: a dash of insight here, a sprinkle of creativity there. It's not that I doubt my skills; I just enjoy the process of continuous improvement, much like a chef perfecting a signature dish🥇.I strive to provide accurate and helpful responses, but I'm always open to feedback and improvement. It's essential to maintain a balance between confidence and humility to continuously grow.!!

I once believed that I could excel in my career and progress to be promoted and supported. However, I soon discovered that manipulative bosses and deceitful colleagues often create deceptive stories in order to control, exploit, steal ideas and effort, and take advantage of others to get upraised and earn bonuses. They hope that you will remain unaware of your own talents, and if you do realize them, they aim to instill fear and uncertainty in you to prevent you from leaving, as they have been withholding the recognition you deserve. ✨ #justsaying

We are our toughest critics, and it’s easy to find evidence that we’re not good enough. But if we look a little harder, we will also see tons of evidence to prove that we are capable and worthy. Remember, you are not your mistakes.

Partially concurring with the assertion that excelling at work creates an expectation of sustained excellence, I acknowledge the necessity of maintaining consistency. There is a presumption that one must consistently perform exceptionally, which can be challenging. The notion of excelling at work implies deriving fulfillment from one's tasks and collaborations within the team. It is important, however, not to overextend oneself to the point where challenges seem insurmountable. Nevertheless, differing viewpoints are inevitable, as everyone has their own perspective on this matter.

Yes! We often upset and sabotage ourselves by thinking in negative and self-destructive ways, influenced by other people's opinions and judgements of us, but those people don't have good intentions for us and project their insecurities and self-hatred onto us. Judging yourself often comes from a childhood trauma when your parents and/or other people criticized you a lot when you were a child, so when you grow up, you experience a lot of shame as an adult and beat yourself up for all the mistakes that you make and everything you do "wrong" without acknowledging the things you do right. It's interesting that we are constantly praising, uplifting, motivating, encouraging and complimenting other people, but we don't do the same for ourselves. Self-love is essential not only for ourselves, but for other people too because when a person has a negative perspective about their own selves, they tend to project that on other people and spread hate everywhere they go.

The only limit to our realization of tomorrow will be our doubts of today. Let doubt be your catalyst, not your captor, and watch as you transform hesitation into triumph.
