I'm just a girl, out here trying to DM my connections to say hi and battling this nonsense. 🙃 LinkedIn wants me to write that "It's been some time since we connected".. girl we connected yesterday and I don't know him yet. AI problems.
I got a prompt that said something similar. "It's been a while since we worked at xx together." We had worked at xx years ago. We worked at a different place together a year ago.
I'm great. Thanks for checking. (written using AI) - Adam
💯 Someone recently ignored an email from me bc the language in the preview window looked so similar to this. It literally HAD been awhile since we had talked, so it was a perfectly natural thing to say first. Even though I followed that statement with details of my weekend and recent travel and asked to catch up, she never opened it to read the rest. Ultimately, I texted another colleague to check in on her bc non-response was so out of character. Feels like Dr. Seuss' Sneetches...
The LinkedIn #AI version of #AI and hands.....it just cannot execute yet. I do not need hands on my hands, nor hands upon my forehead, nor additional fingers attached to my wrists. I appreciate the effort though.
Yeah, what is with the AI prompts under almost every post? I'm all good with embracing this stuff for the right things at the right time but so much useless nonsense is being thrown our way. Do the folks at LinkedIn really want me to ask you, "How is redesigning things bad for design?" Because it did suggest that. 😅
This has been so annoying. I'm defs gonna accidentally send it. Just like I accidentally send gifs all the time.
But then again it helps filter out some of the new unnecessary spam connections 😂
OK not to mention that now it suggests this same message for everyone so anyone on the receiving end of it knows it's just AI spam.
It's not wrong... One day is "some time". It's just not a very *long* time. 🤣
