This happened one month ago today and there are still advertisers dealing with chatbots to sort out the refunds they are owed. It has created a ripple effect on agencies and how a lot of #mediaplans will look going into this summer. There are plenty of ways for advertisers to reach audiences today and given the recent #layoffs at Meta, this one hit extra hard. They still have a big chunk of everyone's energy, and rightfully so, but the elephant in the room has stuck around for a while now... The #travelandtourism advertisers (not just small ones either) we work with have shifted more budget to our campaigns and we are adding a high number of new brands in Q2 & Q3 (many since April 23). With #nativeads having a close look and feel of the highest-performing social ad units, it makes sense.
