As a customer of Square since 2017, I'm shocked at how recent fraud increased. Nobody seems to care that small businesses have significant losses because technology is not serving anymore. The customer ordered a pair of earrings from my website. I shipped it and after it was delivered, I received a claim through Square for $295 to be returned because the buyer was unaware of the transaction. I received a phone call answer: "We know it's frustrating. It's nothing Square can do in this case". The case is simple. I sent all order information and tracking information. For the 7 years, I've been bringing a lot and loyal to Square, but now I wonder if there is absolute protection for a small business like mine and if we need to convert to cash/check again. It doesn't make any sense. The SSquare holds money from my debit account instead of covering the risk of fraud with their fee transaction that had been accumulated through years from my account. But of course, there's a whole system you need to fund, and you are guys "working". Didn't I deserve to have some support from the Square? What are these fees for??? For your website extension, that doesn't even check that the credit card was stolen or something else.
This shouldn't be overlooked. This is coming at the right time and for a customer segment that needs it. Nice move by Square!
Square Kiosk improves order efficiency by integrating hardware, software, and payments, allowing guests to easily order and pay. This frees up workers for other tasks, reduces wait times through self-service ordering, and supports easy customization of orders.

1moI go back and forth on whether to implement a kiosk ordering option at The Mini Donut Company locations. We currently use Square for everything. Biggest reason I haven’t is because I think the team will get far lower tips. Ming-Tai Huh does Square have data on that, by chance?
