Don't pitch the bitch. “Don't pitch the bitch” is a phrase popularized by the movie Boiler Room (2000), advising stockbrokers not to try to sell to women. 👛 Tomorrow I'll be keynoting at Wealth Management EDGE - I'll walk through why women are the largest growth market for the financial services industry. It's 2024 - and I still see the bias of the financial services industry avoiding women. I'll tell the crowd the story of my Morgan Stanley PWM that did not always get my name right 😜. I'll show the power of community building for women. Shelley Zalis is a pioneer. I'll introduce the Bradford Rule with a guaranteed ROI for gaining women as clients and employees. I'll share research from the The Female Quotient that most women don't have financial advisors. It's a green field for the industry. 💚 Let's not pink wash the industry - let's make it equal. The industry is overrun with M&A activity - inorganic growth is expensive - building a community, a strong referral base is a fraction of the cost. By 2030, American women are expected to control much of the $30 trillion in financial assets...that it’s almost equal to the annual GDP of the United States.” As Laura Dern said in Big Little Lies - I will not, not be rich. But I'm going to say it for women - We will not, not be rich. We will control our financial futures. PS - Thanks to Wealth.com and Rafael Loureiro Tim White for getting me involved in this industry and Shannon Rosic 🏆 for reaching out!

We are looking to do an episode featuring a financial advisor that can provide recommendations to women at whatever entry of their financial success they are - whether just getting started or looking for advanced financial planning. Love seeing the importance of women owning and understanding their finances more!

“The industry is overrun with M&A activity - inorganic growth is expensive - building a community, a strong referral base is a fraction of the cost. “ Spot on! And, the relentless M&A kills customer and product innovation.

I didn’t know this bias existed in the financial sector. Sounds close minded and foolish to leave women out of the equation of building a clientele. Congratulations on being keynote speaker and thank you for sharing your wealth of knowledge in the financial services industry with us!
