2024 sees me enter the final phase of my career: Retirement! During my 40 years in the market research industry, I’ve seen a lot of change, but the one constant has been the quality and professionalism of the people I’ve had the privilege of working with. While I was very lucky to be a part of the growth of BASES and to contribute in a small way to the evolution of Nielsen/NIQ, the true reward of the work was the relationships built with co-workers, clients and supplier partners; thank you for sharing your knowledge, your passion and, most importantly, your friendship. It’s been a great ride! Happy New Year to you and your families, and best wishes for the future. Jim

Jim - Congratulations on a remarkable career! Thank you for your servant leadership, mentorship, and generosity. So grateful I had the opportunity to work with you and learn from you. And thank you for everything you've done for my family. Hope this means you’ll have more time for golf! Take care.

Jim, congratulations on your milestone, it's well deserved. Despite challenges and challenging clients, you always kept your focus on the end goal - providing superior customer service and delivering results to your clients. It was a pleasure working with you. Enjoy retirement and I assume you'll have more time with your dogs.

CONGRATULATIONS, Jim! I'm so grateful to have learned so much from you in my career--what a legacy you have created. I can't wait to see what's in store as you enjoy this next phase (and your sweet family!). All the best to you!

Congratulations Jim - I think I even reported to you for a short while 😀 - like you said, we were lucky to work with such amazing people at BASES. The place should be written up in a business book somewhere on hiring great people and supporting/enabling them to do great things...

Jim, it was such a pleasure to work beside you for a number of those years, not to mention the mentorship provided before and after a few of those where we were in the thick of it together. Thank you for always leading with such authenticity and trust in your team. Enjoy this well earned next stage. Keep in touch!

Congratulations, Jim - I'm so happy for you. You are far too modest, though, in characterizing your contributions to BASES, Nielsen, and the entire industry. You have always been a steady, valuable, honest voice, guiding your company and your clients brilliantly. All the best!
