With the right improvements in capabilities, SUAS can significantly contribute to a battalion headquarters’ ability to conduct information collection, surveillance, observed fires, and battle damage assessments. In short, the right SUAS capabilities can help battalion HQs enable companies and platoons—as they should—before, during, and after contact. My team and I describe this in detail in the latest issue of Infantry Magazine.
