Why I chose food management as a career path. Choosing food management as a career path was an easy option for me. I have a passion for food and enjoy working in the culinary world. Starting out my career path in food management has allowed me to combine my love for food with my organizational and leadership skills. Another reason is that the food industry is always evolving, which means there are plenty of opportunities for growth and innovation. Being involved with this type of career path has allowed me to stay up-to-date with the latest food trends, experiment with new recipes, and create unique dining experiences for customers. Additionally, food management roles often come with the satisfaction of creating memorable experiences for customers. I get the opportunity to be apart of the entire food service process, helping with menu planning, ingredient sourcing, and ensuring high quality food is being served.
