Are you one of those people who can never tell how they did in an interview? Don't worry. No one can! I've had people coming out of an interview thinking they've absolutely smashed it (ended up bombing) and people thinking they've landed dead in the water only to get the job minutes later. The two things I recommend asking yourself after you coming out of an interview was "Did I do everything I could?" and "Did I learn everything I wanted to?" If the answer is yes to the first, hold your head high, you absolutely achieved what you set out to and if the answer isn't sure then reflect on what you could have improved on. And to the second, if you didn't learn all you wanted to about the role, definitely don't be afraid to reach back out to either your recruiter or contact to get those questions answered. #interview #interviewtips #interviewfeedback

My 1st 2024 Pro Tip for You👇 o. your road to securing that job If you get an opportunity for an interview, give it the best you can, which starts from preparation. ✨ The worst thing you can do is giving up right after being stunned by a question you weren't ready for or simply didn't expect it - I hear this often, 'The interview was going well until...' 😓 Knowing how to answer is all that matters, not only the answer you have in your hands. 💡 You're not alone. 🤗 Think about how hard it was to get that interview call. 💪 P.S If you have an interview coming up and want to ace it, hit my mail inbox: [email protected] #jobs #jobtips #careerguidance

**Start With a Positive Comment** When you first shake hands and sit down at the table with your interviewer, start everything off with a positive comment. Say something like, “Thanks so much for the opportunity; I was really looking forward to this particular interview!” First impressions are key, and this will immediately show them some of your excitement, positivity, and enthusiasm for the job. And, it could lead to follow-up questions which you’re sure to nail, given that you researched the company and know the job description inside and out beforehand! Hate those weird interview questions such as "What kind of flower would you be?" Do you really know why you're being asked that question? It's to see how you think on the spot and handle pressure. It has nothing to do with your answer. So how do you answer it? Use a mirroring technique. Here's what that might sound like: "Interesting question. What kind of flower would you be and why?" Two benefits of this approach: 1. It buys you time to think 2. You're engaging the interviewer in conversation. People love to talk about themselves. Looking for interviewing advice and strategy to land that job offer? Consider my snack-sized (30 min) and very affordable interview session. I have 30 years of experience to share with you. https://lnkd.in/gZcJdykH #jobseeker #jobsearch #interviewtips #interviewadvice #careeradvice #therunningrecruiter
