We’re beyond grateful for the members of our LGBTQ+ Network Resource Group—Pride NRG—not only because of their advocacy and educational efforts, but also because they inspire us to keep making Humana an inclusive place to work. A workplace where everyone can be themselves helps employees thrive—and that means they can serve our members and communities more completely, too. Explore careers with us at https://huma.na/4bBSy6T.

Humana remains committed to creating a culture of belonging. We understand the importance of allyship with the LGBTQ+ community and were recently recognized by the Courier Journal as one of only four companies in Louisville, KY, to receive a perfect score on the Human Rights Campaign Foundation’s Corporate Equality Index. Advancing equity, diversity, and inclusion is an everyday effort at Humana. For our employees, that means providing inclusive health plans, developing training and resources aimed at educating LGBTQ+ cultural competencies, and championing employee-led and driven groups, like our Pride Network Resource Group, that work to make a positive impact on Humana’s culture and the communities where we serve. Putting people first—that's just what we do. From joining our members on their healthcare journey to providing them with the tools they need to take control of their wellness, we deliver the utmost in service, benefits and resources, and we've been recognized for those efforts, too. “We put our members at the center of everything we do. Again, this year, we spent a lot of time getting to know our members better and understanding what benefits matter the most to them. With affordability, stability and value top of mind, we expanded many of the most popular benefits to every single plan we offer, regardless of where the member lives.” – George Renaudin, Humana’s President of Medicare and Medicaid Explore our Impact Report to learn more about our commitment to our members and the difference it's making in their lives: https://huma.na/451Foxm #HumanaImpactReport #CustomerExperience #CustomerCare

At Humana, we know it’s important to have a diverse workforce—one that understands the challenges facing seniors in healthcare. That’s why in 2018, we launched the Mature Worker Hiring Initiative to improve senior representation across the company. We researched the preferences of senior workers and tailored job opportunities to their needs. Since then, hiring for individuals aged 55- to 85 has increased by 102% and roughly 20% of our workforce is 55+. We’re supporting our multigenerational workforce with GenUs, a Network Resource Group dedicated to advancing a culture of age equity within Humana. For our commitment toward creating a culture of inclusion, we were recognized last month by the Age-Friendly Institute as a Certified Age-Friendly Employer. Whether it's our members and patients or our employees and their families, veterans have always been an important part of Humana. What better way to celebrate them ahead of Memorial Day, than with a special event to Salute the Troops co-hosted by our partners at the Opry Entertainment Group and the Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW). The night was hosted at the Grand Ole Opry in Nashville, and featured performances by members of the 313th U.S. Army Band and country music stars like Trace Atkins, Lauren Alaina, and chief warrant officer in the U.S. Army Reserve, Craig Morgan. Be sure to follow Humana's Facebook page to watch the recording of the event on Saturday, May 25th, and read more about this special night honoring military veterans and active service members by visiting: https://huma.na/44Ywnp4 #MemorialDay #Veterans #Opry
