“How do lift operators feel about being on camera all the time?” Great question! (And one we get a lot) First thing to understand is that no one is actually watching these cameras 24/7. The only time a supervisor will get notified is when there’s something to see. In other words, operate safely and productively and you’ll never get recorded. This also adds a level of accountability to lift operators that simply hasn't existed before in many warehouses. On a recent SupplyChainBrain podcast, Brien Downie from Holman Logistics made an excellent point. “It's like with over the road truck drivers, I think there was initial resistance with dash cams, but when dash cams started proving that it wasn't the truck driver's fault, suddenly every truck driver probably wanted a dash cam. I think it's a similar thing with this in the warehouse.
