Campaigns have demonstrated their power to crystallize ambition, focus ally engagement and achieve transformational giving. However, the new momentum of campaigning calls for new ways to campaign. While campaigns once had an almost singular ambition to raise money for buildings and capital equipment, today's campaigns embrace a more expansive case to advance innovation, community health and clinical programs. To respond to this changing environment and to harness the potential of new opportunities, Accordant redesigned our approach to campaigning to be more agile in an evolving health care environment and more integrated with existing development and communications initiatives. In case you haven't started any New Year planning and are feeling some stress about that, know that you're doing great right where you are 👑 . Most years we were just getting started with beginning or mid-year planning at this point in January. We learned to wait for the books to be closed on December and to give ourselves time to gain some actual perspective for planning, rather than having something that doesn't support you. Seriously, why start before the data is in and you've had a breather? And psst 🤫 .... your org values can help you do less to raise more. Here's a tip from our most recent Community of Care e-news: 🌱 Use Values to Help Prune your Plan Does your value of equity help you decide to plan ahead to change that dinner event that your clients can't join? Does your value of collaboration give you the ability to stop tabling at community events and start attending to show solidarity? Testing your fundraising activities through your values is a powerful tool for prioritization. https://lnkd.in/gCZBK95X

Calling on the Philanthropic Community for support and the chance to join your giving strategy! Alzheimer's Caregiving & The Caregivers, a 501(c)(3) non-profit, was founded by Tony, a devoted husband to an Alzheimer's patient. With his background in corporate leadership, Tony approached Caregiving as if he were launching a business, aiming to create the best environment for his beloved wife and himself as the Caregiver. However, he quickly realized the overwhelming amount of information available with every Google search. After sifting through countless products, podcasts, books, scientific studies, medical and legal options, Tony identified four crucial areas every Caregiver needs to navigate. Realizing the value of his years of research, he transformed it into a resource accessible to all Caregivers. The result? A website plus YouTube, LinkedIn, and Facebook channels with one mission: to serve Caregivers. Help us sustain this invaluable resource! #philanthropy #CorporateSocialResponsibility #givingback

Elevating community health--including access and equity--is both a hot issue and a rising expectation of health care organizations. This means philanthropy leaders must understand the issues and be prepared to talk about the rationale for charitable support and partnership.

As we navigate the complexities of today's world, the power of community has never been more evident. Community is not just about geographical proximity; it’s a feeling of fellowship with others, as a result of sharing common attitudes, interests, and goals. It's about connection, support, and shared responsibility. The strength of a community lies in its ability to bring diverse individuals together, creating a tapestry of experiences and perspectives that enrich us all. It's in the way we rally around those in need, celebrate each other's successes, and work collectively towards a better future. Building and strengthening community connections require empathy, active participation, and the willingness to share experiences. It asks of us to listen, really listen, to the stories around us, and to respond with kindness and support. It encourages us to step out of our comfort zones, to engage in activities that uplift those around us, and to create spaces where everyone feels valued and heard. This week, let's reflect on how we can contribute to the strength and vibrancy of our communities. Whether it's through small acts of kindness, volunteering for local causes, or simply being there for a neighbor, every action counts. Communities thrive when their members feel connected, supported, and valued. Let's commit to being those agents of change, to healing the wounds in our nations, one heart at a time. How do you connect with and contribute to your community? Share with us your stories, actions, or even plans to make your community a stronger, more connected space. 🌍💖 #CommunityPower #TogetherStronger
