🚀 Disruptive industrial designer and innovative thinker, redefining design paradigms with creative solutions
💀👎 MISSED OPPORTUNITY ALERT: Louis Vuitton's Latest Release Fails to Impress! 👎💀 When you bring in a "famous" figure as a creative director solely to ride on their coattails, don't be shocked when you're left with nothing more than an empty status symbol, flaunting an obscene price tag. In an age where consumers demand purpose, intelligence, and sustainability, Farel Williams' latest offering falls flat. What's the creative genius here? An overpriced LV silhouette, dressed up in alligator leather, gold, and diamonds. Talk about a lack of imagination for someone claiming the title of "creative director." Sure, it'll dazzle the wannabes and status-seekers, but let's not pretend it's anything more than a gilded illusion. Louis Vuitton, a brand once renowned for its craftsmanship, now peddles plastic bag equivalents at luxury prices. It's a stark reminder that true innovation takes a backseat when the focus shifts to extravagant excess. 💰💔 Let's demand more from our luxury brands. It's time to refocus on products that stand for something meaningful, rather than empty displays of wealth. #FashionFail #LuxuryWithNoSubstance 💼🚫 https://lnkd.in/etV9XE-h

What if I tell you that an accidental clash led to the making of a handbag which is priced between $10000 to $250,000. 🚀 Hermès, the world's second most valuable luxury brand, is valued at $218 Billion. The Birkin bag, born in 1984, has become a status symbol for many luxury handbags. Before the Birkin bags, the Kelly bags represented the brand's traditional style. However, Birkin bags had a more modern touch. Here are some facts about the Birkin Bags: ⚡ The bags gained popularity in the late 90s and became a must-have fashion accessory. ⚡The bag has a high value due to its unique craftsmanship, and it takes nearly 20 hours to produce one bag by skilled artisans. ⚡Pink and purple Berkins bags are the rarest and most expensive. Several changes and innovations were made regarding sizes and materials in the past few years, but the original designs are still the same. Also, famous celebrities have personalised and customised their Birkin bags. Jane Birkin herself has added badges and stickers to her bags. Not only this, despite having such fame, she used her association with the brand for charitable purposes. Today Birkin Bag is the most sought-after fashion accessory and is on the wish list of every luxury bag lover. #luxuryfashion #fashionretail

As if the fashion world wasn't already teetering on the edge of reality, Louis Vuitton takes it a step further by launching its line of designer leather bags that look suspiciously like your everyday freezer bags. With a price tag of nearly $4,000, these bags may just be the most expensive grocery storage solution out there. These pieces are a feast for the eyes, with hyper-realistic prints of various items like apples and croissants, making them a fashionable choice for those looking to "store their groceries" in style. Perhaps this is Louis Vuitton's nod to the current bag-on-bag trend or a clever move to join the ranks of Bottega Veneta and Balenciaga in creating luxury versions of everyday items. Either way, it's clear that the line between high fashion and everyday informality is getting less and less clear. Time to embrace #grocerystorecore, folks. It's coming for your TikTok feed - and your bank account. #LouisVuitton #FashionTrends #HighCostOfHighFashion. https://buff.ly/3DAhuMP

I remember talking to a designer once and trying to gauge her take on innovation and 'imagination'. I was told that fortunately or unfortunately everything has been done in fashion, curation has taken over creation. She stressed on the fact that everything 'new' on the runway will be based on something 'old' or archival. It led to several questions in my mind that still remain answered. Is being innovative considered to be risky in today's market? I mean obviously, we have seen the reviews of the new McQueen, Gucci, and Tom Ford shows. The real essence of these brands was missed at their latest showcases. How do brands need to position themselves in order to perform a balancing act of being commercially successful and innovating? This piece asks similar questions. #fashion #fashionmarketing #luxury #designers

🎒 In the world of mind-boggling fashion, a designer bag smaller than a grain of sea salt has just made waves at an auction, selling for a jaw-dropping $60,000! Yes, you read that right. Let's dive into the details of this extraordinary accessory. Measuring a mere 657 x 222 x 700 micrometres, this microscopic bag is a scaled-down replica of Louis Vuitton's OnTheGo tote. Imagine holding a bag that's 1:600 of its original size! It's fluorescent green and boasts the same monogram and patterns as its big sibling. But here's the kicker: this bag is so tiny that you can barely see it without squinting! Place it on the tip of a human fingertip, and it's just about visible to the naked eye. Talk about a fashion statement that demands attention, even on a microscopic scale! The creative minds behind this extraordinary creation are the art collective MSCHF, known for their eccentric projects. From "Birkinstock" sandals made from cut-up Hermès Birkin bags to a dog collar that translates barks into swear words, they constantly challenge norms. The winning bid for this minute masterpiece reached a mind-blowing total of $63,750! The buyer's identity remains undisclosed, leaving us to speculate wildly. Given the bag's size, we can't help but imagine a fashion-forward flea, a chic gnat, or even a stylish head louse! Who would have thought that something so incredibly small could make such a colossal impact in the fashion world? The boundaries of creativity and extravagance continue to be pushed, surprising us at every turn. #luxury #university #college #uae #westford

The phrase "brown is the new blue" is a fashion-related saying that suggests brown has become a fashionable and versatile alternative to the traditional go-to color of blue. In the world of men's fashion, blue suits, particularly navy and dark blue, have long been considered staples for their versatility and timeless appeal. However, over recent years, brown suits have gained popularity and recognition as a stylish and adaptable choice for various occasions. Fashion trends often evolve and shift, and "brown is the new blue" reflects the changing tastes and preferences in men's fashion. While blue suits will always have their place in classic menswear, brown suits have emerged as a contemporary and stylish choice that offers a fresh take on formal and semi-formal attire. #uomocollezioni_dubai #madetomeasure #suits #shirts #silkties #luxuryfabrics #linings #buttons #monogram #dubailifestyle #dubailuxury #fairmonthotels #sheikhzayedroad
