After leaving the Army and joining Salesforce, Slack immediately stood out to me as a tool that could provide value to the DoD because it’s more than just a communications tool. From the ability to build custom application connectors where executives get notifications of in app approval requests in Slack to the introduction of Slack AI summaries and the platform growing to a sustainable knowledge management data warehouse. I’m excited for Slack to expand in the DoD and drive productivity across organizations.
