When viewing the 3D Amalfi map, worth playing with modifier keys to see all the 3D goodness. e.g. on a Mac, press shift while dragging with the mouse to shift the camera. Drag while holding Control, or Option or Command provides other camera control functions.
Using AI Gemini on the Google Maps Platform will revolutionize how we quickly find places and will be a product game changer.

2wAmazing work here! I think the biggest limitation is that much of the Google geospatial and maps APIs/tools aren't compatible to be mixed with other outside platforms. Google's tech sets the bar high for smaller competitors but also leaves tons of room for competing alternatives! https://worldbuilder.substack.com/p/unbundling-google-maps
