Amazing work here! I think the biggest limitation is that much of the Google geospatial and maps APIs/tools aren't compatible to be mixed with other outside platforms. Google's tech sets the bar high for smaller competitors but also leaves tons of room for competing alternatives! https://worldbuilder.substack.com/p/unbundling-google-maps

When viewing the 3D Amalfi map, worth playing with modifier keys to see all the 3D goodness. e.g. on a Mac, press shift while dragging with the mouse to shift the camera. Drag while holding Control, or Option or Command provides other camera control functions.
