But how will homeschooling kids get college admission, or how will he or she find jobs without degrees and certificates? According to Laszlo Bock,  the Senior Vice President of People Operations at Google -G.P.A.s are worthless as criteria for hiring, and test scores are worthless. -Google famously used to ask everyone for a transcript, G.P.A., and test scores, but we don't anymore unless you're just a few years out of school. -We found that they don't predict anything. -Interestingly, the proportion of people without a college education at Google has also increased. -So we have teams where you have 14 percent of the team comprised of people who've never gone to college. --------------------------------- I know not everyone will work in Google but this indicates that Building skills will be more critical than building certificate towers in times to come. Dear Professionals and Professionals (in view), Education is a never-ending journey; most especially, in a time/period of multiple intellectuals inventing, and re-inventing of day to day operating mechanisms that functions as tools to make our life easier; most especially, in a time/period of numerous problems in dire need of instant solutions, solutions being provided within record time faster than the speed of light; most especially, in a time/period of technological and scientific advancements, intentionally challenging we humans as to questioning our whole existence. There have never been a more critical moment to invest in the continued attainment of knowledge, useful knowledge, than NOW. In that light, I am pleased to announce my completion of my first year attaining continued knowledge in Information Technology at Google, with a grade score of over 90% within the top 20% in my department.
