This short interview between our CEO Rob Coupland and CTO Simon Michie is time well spent for any local businesses with big ambitions for growth.
As a relative new-comer to Pulsant, there are two sound-bites in particular, that resonated with me:
1. "We built our business by being a trusted and responsive provider." As an account manager who has spent a career trying to build a reputation as an "honest" salesperson, it is hugely important to me that I work for organisations that encourage me to do what is right for my client. I like to solve problems, as opposed to creating new ones by shoving a square peg in a round hole. So hearing our CEO discussing our heritage of trust is a huge positive for me.
2. "[We] bring the technology to where the business is, rather than the assumption that the business has to come to the technology. It means that you can consume low latency networking and very reliable secure compute in Gateshead." This is ties back into the "levelling up" piece and the big picture of what we’re trying to achieve. We're investing in the local infrastructure, making the North East much more well connected and more attractive to larger businesses, and giving local businesses access to a fast and secure infrastructure on their doorstep.
Our ambition is that by connecting businesses, people, and data, we unleash waves of opportunities that re-position the UK as the intellectual and commercial pathfinder for the 21st century.

In the competitive arena of the optical industry, every percentage point in cost savings can be the difference between just getting by and truly flourishing in your practice.
At Partners in Profit, we're not just about helping practices survive; we're about catapulting them into a realm of unmatched profitability.

It's clear that markets aren't rewarding "growth at all costs" anymore.
So what do they care about? Rule of 40? Net Revenue Retention? Free Cash Flow?
The answer is not any single metric. No one number can tell the entire story of a company's revenue health.
Markets are rewarding Revenue Precision.
A combination of growth, efficiency, predictability, and repeatability.
And to achieve that kind of precision, the best revenue teams are running revenue like a business process.
That means breaking it down into component parts and optimizing each of those parts in an intentional revenue cadence.
That’s why we took the wisdom of the world's best revenue teams and packaged it into a Revenue Cadence Playbook.
It's the path to achieving sustainable revenue precision that private and public markets will reward.
