Danke, Andrea Baur, dass Sie auf den NZZ Aufsatz des hochgeschätzten Prof. Wolffsohn aufmerksam machen. Ich frage mich, wie es sein kann, dass angeblich Gebildete, auch aus dem eigenen Umfeld, angesichts der Hamas Barbarei so still bleiben und sich fast nur über Israel aufregen. Nun habe ich einige Erklärungen gefunden. Furchtbar, wie tief das sitzt.
„ We are educating intelligent barbarians“ former President of Johns Hopkins University Steven Muller (1927–2013) . The outstanding and well known German Jewish historian Prof. Michael Wolffsohn has written an excellent essay in the NZZ ( Neue Zürcher Zeitung) about the „ new antisemitism „ in the so called global intellectual circles and how we are on the way to abolishing western values, science and culture. He‘s analysing the murky mixture of envy, jealousy and hate against the Jews in western societies. It’s naive to think „ education „ is THE magical cure against antisemitism. We’re seeing since 7/10 actually pretty much the opposite. The so called „ elite „ are succumbing to a tsunami of vile , disgusting and hateful antisemitism. In Europe, the US , Canada, Australia. We are succumbing to the obnoxious pseudo culture of a loud, violent and vulgar minority. The essay is a 10 minute read in German but it’s definitely worth the effort of a translation . Prof Wolffsohn doesn’t mince his words and hits home with every single sentence of his scathing analysis
