GrowthAssistant is hiring a Finance Manager, 100% remote in the U.S.! This role would join our leadership team, and would influence and own our Finance function. I am in week 3 of being on this team and I can say, without hesitation, it was the right choice for me. Making sure you’re speaking with the right people is critical when hiring for a newly created position in the finance and accounting space. Here’s what I look for in candidates for newly created positions: 1. Prior experience: “been there done that” experience will increase the likely hood of someone being successful. 2. Grit: Look for signs of a “stick with it” mentality in their experience. 3. Positive attitude: having a positive mindset will increase the speed at which someone will develop professional relationships and provide a meaningful impact in a new role.
