Last week, we had the opportunity to participate in a HR panel and networking session at The Ohio State University in partnership with the Ohio State Fashion and Retail Studies. Our conversations focused on preparing students for career fairs and interviews as well as the importance of networking as they embark on their first role after graduating. Thank you ISG (Information Services Group) for inviting us to be a part of the event. If you joined us, share your favorite moment of the evening in the comments below. #iworkatexpress

Hi Talent Acquisition Champions, I had a question today from a recruiter new to career fairs asking how to choose strategic booths for a career fair. I thought I would share it here for all: 1. Location, Location, Location: The location of your booth is crucial. Try to choose a booth near the entrance or along the main walkway. These areas typically have the most foot traffic. 2. Size Matters: Depending on your budget, a larger booth can make a strong impression. However, it’s not just about size, but how you use the space. Make sure your booth is inviting and encourages interaction. 3. Visibility: Ensure your booth is easily visible. Use banners, signage, and other visual elements to catch the attention of attendees from a distance. 4. Near Amenities: If possible, try to get a booth near amenities like restrooms or food courts. These areas tend to have people lingering around, giving you more opportunities to engage with potential candidates. 5. Know Your Neighbors: Be aware of who your booth neighbors are. If you’re next to a company that aligns with your industry, it could potentially drive more relevant traffic to your booth. 6. Remember, the goal is to attract and engage with as many potential candidates as possible. So, plan ahead and choose wisely! Good luck to all the participants! I hope this helps! Let me know if you need any more assistance. #careerfair #kualalumpurjobs #klcc #mycareerfair2024
