EPIC Special Education Consulting’s Post

This morning, a special ed director got the attention of my heart. “I just want people to know my experience, what I care about, and how I can help…that I don’t just only care about the reporting that consumes my time…that I have a passion for student behavior and adult learning.” I hear comments like this everyday from special education administrators. What they’re all saying is… ⭐️ I want to feel VALUED for the EXPERT I am and the work I’ve put into growing and learning. ⭐️ I want to CONNECT with teachers and families to be sure students can be successful in my district. We’ve got some pretty brave and bold leaders in education who are ready to make changes so conditions for special ed teachers and students improve. 🙋♀️ Who do you know doing the work to make special education a better place?
