How can you tell if Google and your browser are receiving the same HTTP status code? 🤔 A quick tip: Dive into your log files to check if bots and browsers get different HTTP status codes for the same URLs. It's a simple yet effective way to peek behind the curtain! Secondly, use Screaming Frog with the predefined "Googlebot (Smartphone)/(Desktop)" user agent. This mimics Googlebot and allows you to compare how your server responds to requests from Googlebot versus a browser. It's like seeing your site through Google's eyes, and it can reveal some surprising differences in how your server responds. If you notice a difference, it could be due to having different rules set up for Google bots and browsers. If you have any other solutions, please let me know in the comments. 💡👇 #SEO #DigitalMarketing

The Topics API seems to be a new replacement for third-party cookies. It is more privacy-friendly as it only tracks the topics you’re interested in based on the websites you visit as oppose to more in-depth data that cookies hold. The collected data is deleted after 3 weeks. The downside is currently it is only available on Google Chrome, let's see if other browsers will follow Source: https://lnkd.in/gXCHjgRZ #BrowsingTopicsAPI #GoogleChrome #PrivacySandbox #Advertising #TopicsAPI #technology
