I am so proud to work for Mondelēz International!
Mondelez International has demonstrated a strong commitment to racial and ethnic diversity within its workforce through various initiatives and actions:
Racial Equity Audit: In 2022, Mondelez International voluntarily commissioned a third-party racial equity audit by WilmerHale to assess its progress in promoting equity within the company. The audit highlighted several positive outcomes, including responsible marketing policies, enhanced processes for vetting political contributions, increased spending with minority- and women-owned businesses, and efforts to recruit and develop diverse talent.
Representation in the Workforce: Mondelez International's workforce diversity in 2021 reflected a mix of ethnicities, with White employees at 61.4%, Hispanic or Latino at 17.8%, Black or African American at 14.3%, Asian at 3.8%, and others at 2.7%. The company aims to increase the percentage of women in leadership roles and double the percentage of Black representation in management by specific targets set for 2024.
Diversity and Inclusion Initiatives: The company's Chief Global Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Officer, Robert Perkins, emphasizes Mondelez International's commitment to advancing racial equity and inclusion among its colleagues, culture, and communities. The company has implemented various programs to promote inclusivity, such as leader inclusivity training, investments in organizations like Boys & Girls Clubs of America and the Thurgood Marshall College Fund, diverse talent placement programs, mentorship initiatives, and inclusivity training for senior people managers.
DE&I Governance: Mondelez International takes its commitment to advancing racial equality seriously by engaging in numerous programs with robust oversight systems at both management and board levels to address racial justice considerations across its operations.
Diversity isn't just a buzzword at Mondelez International – it's a driving force behind our success. From racial equity audits to inclusive leadership training, we're committed to fostering a workplace where every voice is heard and valued. Proud to be part of a company that understands the power of diversity in driving innovation and growth. #DiversityandInclusion #InclusiveLeadership #RacialEquity #MondelezInternational"
