Very interesting analysis. Netflix differentiates itself by not yielding to the pricing play (except for the recent perfectly timed price drop !) in India and achieving its strategic vision of content localization. Timing of its entry into Indian market coinciding with the boost in mobile data usage in 2016 and the fast growth in mobile data adoption in this market has worked in its favor. The huge potential and fast pace of growth in internet and mobile data adoption will continue as one of the driving factors for Netflix’s growth in Indian market.
