What a terrific annual planning session for our EO Raleigh Durham chapter! Every year it feels like we are getting stronger and creating smoother and smoother transitions to the new board. Karen Albright, thank you for the tremendous leadership this year and leading our chapter to the next level. Joseph Torres, MBA, thank you for taking on the role to lead us this year. We have such a terrific board this year full of encouraging volunteer members excited to serve. Truly, the expectation now every year is that this will be the best year yet and looking forward to realizing that with this Team! And of course, we are all so thankful for the support of the wonderful Vision Implementors team of Amy Henning and Ronnie Crowley and for Paul Levering’s EOS framed planning structure! Cheers to this next year! John Hoy Geoffrey Banks, Ph.D. Maribeth Elias Christensen, CPA Wendy Clark Jake Finkelstein Evan Schwartz Jason Potts Matthew Mawby

The amount of information in these leaked documents is extensive. No, we don't know the specific weights as it relates to the algorithm, but we do know a heck of a lot more about the vast volume of API calls and the types of things that are being called. If your SEO company is shrugging this off and not digging deep into what information has come about from this Google leak, perhaps you should be questioning why that is. There is A TON of information in there that is leading to significant experimentation opportunities here at Reunion Marketing and while no one knows the specific algorithmic weights, we do have math and our culture of experimentation to leverage to further grow our insights and strategies as we always expect continuous improvement on our most popular product. In fact, because of these conditions we know that we are at a competitive advantage! Great stuff as always from our local (to Raleigh) SEO friend JR Oakes here highlighting just one of thousands of examples of what the best of the best are gleaning from the leak.
Built something over the weekend :-)

HUGE news in the world of SEO yesterday! There was a leak with approximately 14,000 of the algorithm factors that validated a number of strategies and processes for the Reunion Marketing Team and we just posted a POV to help showcase some of the key findings. The leak itself was not directly the algorithm itself, but 2,500 internal documents that references the inner workings of how Google's search works. This is one of the BIGGEST leaks ever to happen to Google and you can read more about it here! TL;DR: Recent leaks from Google reveal the true factors behind their search rankings, confirming the strategies Reunion Marketing employs. Key factors include keyword optimization in technical elements like title tags, content freshness, precise internal linking, low bounce rates, geographic relevance, and strategic design elements with a focus on conversion. Reunion's alignment with these factors ensures high-quality, effective, and winning SEO for our clients, consistently driving success in search rankings. These insights reinforce our leading position in the industry and our commitment to adapting to Google’s evolving algorithm for exceptional client outcomes.

I’m missing my Digital Dealer Conference & Expo DealerPoint friends and partners this week up here at HQ, but Reunion Marketing still brought the firepower to the show with Chad Graves and Shawn Zents 📈 on site and ready to share loads of insights on the changing world of Google. They’ve taken away A LOT of control from advertisers but there are ways to combat this new environment and gain market share. Hit them up if you’re there to see what’s going on!

At Reunion Marketing, we are strong believers that #EnvironmentMatters. I live this at home, in my car, in my office, and as a Team we live it throughout our office. Every couple of months we add to the RM environment to reinforce the positive and encouraging culture that we live and breathe. This recent addition, our Core Values are now LOUDLY exclaimed on our North wall. We're always headed north, so the placement is perfect and a constant reminder of who we are as a team and community!

I recently received a wonderful compliment from a really great client partner of Reunion Marketing who told me he always appreciated my consistent follow-ups during our professional relationship back when I was the client and he was the vendor partner, regardless of the business outcome. This practice of providing feedback and maintaining open, honest communication he particularly valued and I was sure to always keep communication timely and candid. His sentiment really struck a chord with me as I see more and more people close themselves off from some of what I always considered basic principles of business relationships. Unfortunately in modern society, it's becoming increasingly common for some individuals to ignore calls, emails, or texts after initial discussions or presentations shared - just a clean cut from ever responding again after significant time and effort was put into sharing insights and perspective. This disrespectful trend not only wastes everyone’s time but also overlooks the basic respect due in professional interactions. If you find yourself skipping this important relational step, please consider the immense benefits of a simple follow-up. A brief message, taking just 30 seconds, can significantly enhance mutual respect and efficiencies for everyone. It might come back to benefit you in the future and fortunately because I am someone who has always afforded this practice, it has for me and probably more than I know. For those who are great at this part of relationships, I'm sure it's paying off for you also probably more than you might know! Let’s commit to respecting each other’s time. It’s the right thing to do.
