It is a criminal offence which blights communities, brings neighbourhoods down, poses a risk to public health and the environment and drains the public purse in clean up costs. We will always take enforcement action where we find evidence of those responsible and have already this year issued 133 fixed penalty notices for waste offences as well as successfully carried out four prosecutions.” Hopefully this will reduce the volume of fly-tipping across Tameside. The political opposition is often criticising and spreading false information that “the Councillors & Tameside Council simply don’t care and aren’t doing anything” After reading the above article it is clearly evident that the Local Councillors & Tameside Council do care & they are striving their best to resolve the ongoing problem of fly-tipping! #keepupthegoodwork

This is one of the reasons that Singapore is so clean, zero tolerance for anyone who litters: "More people caught littering in Singapore last year, over 20,000 tickets issued: NEA report". Singapore is one of the cleanest places on the planet and this is why. We don't tolerate litterbugs. It may seem trivial but the act of littering is anti-social and can escalate and show's an attitude that is not welcome in Singapore. We Singaporeans take immense pride in keeping Singapore clean and are quite happy that people are punished for littering. This is also the reason why I love the fact that chewing gum is not sold here. Just go to any city in the world and look at all the black marks on the pavements and remind yourself that they're all caused by gum being thrown onto a pavement and stepped on. It takes tens of millions of dollars to clean and looks terrible. If you combine throwing away gum with littering you end up with a disgusting looking city that negatively represents that city's values. Littering extends to people who don't return trays at hawker centres or in fact anywhere. It's inconsiderate and selfish to not do so. The next point about littering on a tropical island is that it can attract rodents and insects. So zero tolerance on littering gets my vote. What do you think? #Singapore #Clean

"Loss of Situational Awareness" ... "Assumptions"... Both of which can work together to manifest a horrible outcome. This appears to be, on the surface, 100% loss of situational awareness. I do not see the shine of a cell phone that the driver may have been carrying, thus no clear indication of 'non-work-related' distraction. They do not 'stutter-stop-start' in their driving. Would seem to imply deliberate action (not to be confused with malicious deliberate action). Did the driver observed two yellow guards and an open bay door and assume a trailer was there? Did this person 'assume' this was the right bay? Maybe they did, maybe they did not. May have been just assigned to the adjacent trailer. There appears to be a trailer to the right of the open bay door. Appears to be a computer terminal in the upper right hand corner of the cab area. Was the light shining in their eyes contributing to the confusion? Was the cab display telling this person the wrong bay - and were they laser-focused on the wrong bay? Were they fatigued? Were they distracted by a personal issue? Were they impaired? (drugs, alcohol) Were they having a medical condition? (petit-mal seizure onset, diabetic emergency) Many questions.
