HAPPY FRIYAY 💃 What do you have to celebrate this week? 💪 Achievement 😊 Thing(s) that have brought you joy 🤔 Something you learnt Here are mine 💪 ACHIEVEMENT I actually had to think really hard about this. And then I realised that "achievements" don't have to be the big things. My achievement this week is doing lots of stuff that gives me energy so I feel full of joy going into the weekend. -Creative thinking at work -Writing -Catching up with friends -Meeting new people -Having inspiring chats 😊 JOY - Catching up with Emily Armstrong 🧡(stills amazes me how you can so easily video chat to someone the other side of the world) -Inspiring chats in the London sunshine with Adam Campbell eating sushi 🍣 -Finally meeting Laura Brunton⚡ and Sarah G. face to face and connecting with other inspiring women like Priya Williams BA (Hons) Dip PFS and Nonie M C White FRSA -My daughter learning to say avocado 🥑 "abocadoooo" 🤔 LEARNING I learnt this week about red and green energy from Lauren Lepley: 🔴 Red – the stuff that drains your energy, causes procrastination and increases tiredness 💚 Green – the stuff that gives you joy, energises you, helps get you into a state of flow You will always need to some red stuff (hello housework) but if your week is full of red activity then you are not going to have energy to do the green stuff where you are actually more productive. The week will feel much harder than it needs to. So I am working on reducing the red and upping the green and Almost 1 in 5 people have experienced homelessness 😓 - thank you George Taktak for giving an amazing talk on mental health in the LGBTQ+ community at Havas yesterday. Have a great weekend friends. PS - Want your communication to have an impact - get practical tips in 4 minutes with my weekly newsletter 📣 Link in bio and comments
