Program ant colonies?! How do you teach trainees about programming? This is what our trainers deal with every day. One way to achieve this is to combine theory with practice in a playful way, such as in our Coding Week 2021, which was about the “Game of Life”. Now the next coding event was on the agenda: a tournament taking place over four weeks, in which our trainees took on the classic programming simulation game “AntMe! “The game is really old,” Tilo, unit lead and instructor of software development, tells us, “it already existed in a previous version when I was still learning programming, roughly 20 years ago.” https://lnkd.in/gxud3c2k

🚀 Boost Your Programming Skills with the Feynman Technique! 📚💡 Hello everyone! 👋 Do you want to get really good at programming? Try out something called the Feynman Technique! 🌟 It's like a special trick to help you learn things better. Here's how it works: 1️⃣ Pick Something to Learn: Choose a thing in programming that you want to understand better. It could be about making code work or understanding a specific part of a computer language. 2️⃣ Explain It Like You're Talking to a Friend: Pretend you're telling a friend who doesn't know much about programming. Use simple words and try to make it easy to understand. 3️⃣ Find the Tricky Parts: If there are parts that you find hard to explain, that's okay! It shows you what you need to work on. 4️⃣ Read and Make It Simple: Go back to your books or videos and read about it again. Then, try to explain it even simpler than before. 5️⃣ Keep Going!: Talk about it again, and try to make it even clearer. The more you talk about it, the better you'll understand. The Feynman Technique helps you really get why something works in programming. It's not about just remembering, it's about really knowing! 🧠💪 Give it a try, and see how it helps you get better at programming! ✨ Share your experiences in the comments. Let's learn and get better together! 🌱 #ProgrammingTips #FeynmanTechnique #LearnToCode #KeepLearning
