Site Reliabilty Engineering (SRE) Director | Ex-Meta

After nearly 11 years at the company, Friday was my last day at Facebook/Meta! Making the decision to leave was not an easy one. Being part of a team tackling some of the most monumental infrastructure challenges was truly humbling. I feel privileged and honored to have been a part of scaling the world's largest website to billions of people worldwide. However, I believe now is the opportunity to embrace fresh opportunities and seek out a new and exciting challenge. Leaving Meta will undoubtedly be bittersweet, particularly because of the meaningful friendships and relationships I've formed throughout the years. Things went well for me at the company, mostly thanks to the support I received from my exceptional team, peers, and managers. I've had people who pushed me, trusted me, advocated for me, stood by me during setbacks, and extended valuable opportunities. Thank you. My time at the company has been some of the most transformative years of my life, and it's with deep gratitude that I close this chapter and move on to the next. I'll take the remainder of the year off to recharge, reconnect with family and friends, and embark on new adventures. I will actively explore fresh roles and opportunities towards the end of this year or early next year.

Whatever you do next you'll be great! Enjoy the break, there's life after FB/Meta 😊

Had the pleasure of working with you and wishing you all the best in the next chapter of your career!
