Transform the way your company brainstorms remotely with Idea Morph 🚀 | Ex. Consultant, EA Sports UX Lead for FIFA,+10 years in banking
🌟 Yesterday’s most inspiring talk, at Oslo Innovation Week: How to lead through exponential growth. Loved to hear about the importance of async work, emphasised by all three speakers. ✍ My key takeaways: 📌 Marianne Bratt's “respect the fact that people need to work” - related to remote working and understanding that, hey, people don’t need to answer immediately. 📣 📌 Daniel Karlsen’s reminder that what gets you going in hard times is really believing in what you build and seeing how this creates value and helps clients. 🎯 Carl Christensen’s “being a good hybrid leader is about being asynchronous” ♠ #OIW2023

Managing Partner APJ at INCITE | Seasoned technology executive helping Asia’s largest organisations transform | Passionate Leader | Advisor | Mentor | Leadership Coach | Keynote Speaker
Great to be back in Singapore for a while. Early morning walks to keep the mind fresh. At INCITE Consulting wellness is something we always talk about and promote as something that should be at the top of your To Do List! Great way to start the day! I always talk about the likes of Japan, Thailand and other places being innovation hubs, but Singapore is just as much of one. Over the last decade many factors such as a youthful population and the high use of the internet and the rising middle class and start up friendly ecosystem has boosted the innovation journey here. Many large corporations here have embraced working with startup’s which is great to see. Now we need to help both large and small organization continue to scale with disruptive tech to bring their products and services to the growing SEA region. Think synergy, simplification and scale when you review your IT/DX strategy this year. This is harder than you would think 🤔 #cio #singapore #innovation #consultingservices #data #dx #digitalbusinesstransformation

❓Megatrends and Companies❓ Dear Community, The Zukunftsinstitut in Germany regulary publishes a megatrend map that shows the biggest drivers in the economy and society. 💡 Megatrends shape our future and always influence each other. The Megatrend New Work is a general term for new ways of working that includes characteristics such as individuality, freedom, decentralisation, digitalisation and adaptability. Already in the 70s, specialists such as Prof. Dr. Frithjof studied different topics on this (in the 70s💡!). ◾Structure of work, ◾Attitude at work & ◾Impact of digitalisation It is interesting to notice that megatrends such as "New Work" never appear alone and always touch and influence other trends such as digitalisation, globalisation and individualisation. ❔ How do we relate this to the context of companies ❔ In Lemona, we elaborate and analyse the vision of a company in terms of location, structure, working model, culture, sustainability, teamwork and employees. Based on this, we develop tailored strategies that integrate both - company goals and employees. It is always important for us to consider all facets in order to create an individual and sustainable vision for the future. For this purpose, we create a roadmap together with our clients in which important milestones are defined from the goals and strategy all the way to implementation. The focus is always the holistic view of the environment, the company and the employees. If demanded, we offer trainings and coachings to assist changes in management style and team building. Would you like to learn more about us or start your future project with us? We look forward to getting to know you in a free first meeting. #Megatrends #Workplacesolution #Newwork

(Interim) Managing Director (CEO/COO) für Business Growth, Transformation und Digitalisierung (Operations, Finance, OE)
🚀 Exciting COO Networking in Berlin! 🚀 This week, I had the privilege of meeting fellow Operations & General Management enthusiasts in Berlin for the very first time. The vibrant Operations Community here is a fantastic platform for engaging in insightful discussions, drawing inspiration, and sharing knowledge. Our Wednesday meetup delved into two fascinating topics: 1️⃣ "COO as the Human Bandaid" - An enriching discussion with Emily Lincoln-Gordon, who skillfully manages multiple departments as a COO. Her insights and energy were truly inspiring. 2️⃣ "Democratizing the IT" - A thought-provoking conversation with Matthias Schoen, focusing on streamlining the IT stack and striking the right balance between "Buy" and "Build" for business-supporting technology. Here are my key takeaways and insights: ❤️ Remarkably, there's a significant representation of women in COO roles in Berlin 🤞 Exploring ways to measure "company culture" beyond engagement scores. What parameters can reveal the essence of our "way of working" culture? 🤞 Emphasizing the importance of swiftly and decisively assessing team fit, as role model leaders and efficient managers. Making the right calls regarding new hires is critical. 🤞Developing a decision matrix to determine when to build our own tech stack versus utilizing third-party solutions. Factors include existing and future FTE skills, costs, customization needs, and market tech trends. 🤞 Check out https://lnkd.in/ekZSKm2k Thanks Bella Riemer for the recommendation 🤞 Exploring best practices for leveraging AI in business operations. Are there any blueprints available? 🤞 Preparing employees for the future, including AI training and data-sharing considerations. What else to add? Viktoria Klianeva Willie Elamien Huge thanks to Antonia Hammer for the invitation, and I'm looking forward to reconnecting with all of you at our next gathering! #COOCommunityBerlin #OperationsManagement #NetworkingWin #AIinBusiness #LinkedInNetworking #generalmanagement #ceo #efficiency #growth #businessoperations

Strategic Leader in US-India Business Venture | Expert in Establishing and Leading MNC Subsidiaries| B2B Business Specialist | Intercultural Communication Aficionado
🌍 Why Best Practices Don't Translate Across Cultures? When companies try to replicate successful practices from one culture to another, they often face unexpected difficulties and limitations. This is because best practices are context-specific and do not always translate well across different cultural settings. 🚧💡🌐 In one study conducted at a high-tech company, we examined the implementation of innovation practices in India and China, inspired by the success of a similar center in the United States. Despite being part of the same company and performing similar tasks, employees in different cultural contexts interpreted and implemented the practices differently. 🔄 Another study focused on software development teams in different locations, such as the US, Germany, and India. Management practices that worked well in the U.S. and Germany generated dissatisfaction in India. 🖥️🌍❌ Evaluation and reward processes designed to promote autonomy and flat hierarchies clashed with the expectations of Indian developers, who desired more contact and feedback from managers. Additionally, a study on collaborative technologies in Japan, Mexico, and the U.S. highlighted differences in adoption and usage. 🇯🇵🇲🇽🇺🇸🔬 Cultural factors, such as commuting patterns and attitudes towards remote work, influenced the acceptance of telecommuting technologies. Collaborative technology preferences and formality in communication also varied across cultures. Ultimately, this approach fosters innovation and enables the sharing of successful practices across cultural boundaries.💡🌍 Read the full article here: https://lnkd.in/dt2EC6UF #CulturalDifferences #BestPractices #Innovation #GlobalBusiness #CrossCulturalCollaboration
