I solemnly swear I am up to no good. 🤫 As part of Yokoy's annual Summer Event, Product and Tech folks got to spend the day at Google in Zurich with the Google Cloud folks and partners, including MongoDB, Datatonic, and DoiT International, to dive head first into a generative AI-based hackathon. 🤖 Pinch me! 🤩 In just a few hours, it was so easy to see how innovation can be rooted in playfulness, toying with what could be (forget constraints for a minute), and having all the fun. I got to be the word nerd assigned to the care of a brilliant team, including Benedikt Schmidhuber, Felipe Olivera Freire, Jelena Petković, Pavle Jankovic, Rafael Magalhães de Andrade, Stavros Kortesas, Tobias Weissert, and Tudor Moise, and I'm so glad for it. There were puns aplenty, creativity in spades, and a level of scheming to rival the sneakiest of baddies. 🦹💰 (We really weren't up to any good.) Huge thanks to our generous hosts from Google Cloud, including Hans Tran and the humans from Yokoy who not only thought this could be a good idea, but who ran with it and made it real. Exciting results after two days of dedicated work! Our team secured the 2nd place at the EROAD Hackathon! 🥈🚀 Our idea revolved around harnessing generative AI to create value from data. We aimed to turn raw data into insights and solutions, opening the door to many new possibilities. I had the pleasure of hosting one of the re:Invent re:Cap sessions at Xebia Poland, where I presented the possibilities of #PartyRock. During the session, I demonstrated how easy it is to use, showcased some sample apps, and explained the difference between a well-written prompt and one that fails to lead us anywhere. We've had a great 3 days at the #Microsoft Summer 2023 Virtual Hackathon. We used this as a opportunity to see how far tools like #githubcopilot, #azureopenai and #azure #cognitiveservices can enable #developers to be more effective (and happier!) We've been generating and converting code between different languages, applying coding standards, integrating and generated embeddings from our own sources with AI. One of the takeaways - if you've not tried Azure #promptflow, take a look. It's allowed us to rapidly build, test and deploy complex AI APIs.
