This month, we're celebrating #DisabilityPrideMonth, paying tribute to our fantastic partners in supported living: Bespoke Supportive Tenancies, Care Housing Association Ltd, RWP (Reside With Progress) and Golden Lane Housing. As members of the Learning Disability and Autism (LDA) Housing Network, these #housingassociations collaborate to provide supported #housing to #tenants with learning disabilities.👏 We believe that people are disabled by barriers in society, not by their impairment or difference and we’re committed to making amazing communications, #accessible for all. Let's not limit our steps towards understanding and empathy to this month alone, but strive to make them part of our daily lives. 🧡 #ukhousing #socialhousing #housingcomms #creativeagency #branding #marketing #graphicdesign #digitalmarketing #creative #design #socialmediamarketing #marketingagency #socialmedia #webdesign #brandingagency #brandidentity #designagency #photography #graphicdesigner #contentmarketing #agency #logo #creativity #marketingstrategy

Do you have a plan? July is Disability Pride month. Take this as your cue to listen to, centre, and celebrate your disabled and Neurodivergent staff. It’s a great chance to examine how your organisation actively includes and supports disabled people. Are you actively ensuring your neurodivergent staff aren’t struggling? Are you confident that your organisation supports neurodiverse people, at every stage of employment? Focusing on your disability and Neurodiversity strategy is not about being shamed, or feeling guilty for ‘getting it wrong’. You don’t know what you don’t know. By listening to people who have been through the process, you will gain valuable insight and confidence that you will be able to make your processes as smooth for everyone as you can.
