What you see below isn't traffic, but actual conversions, *read: cold hard cash* What's more exciting than seeing a spike in traffic on your websites? You're seeing it right in the attached graph. It's #revenue. This case study is about one client of mine, which operates in the #D2C space and wants to accelerate conversions. You might think SEO did the magic, but that's wrong. Look, traffic was always there, maybe due to SEO or ads or something, but that's not where I want you to focus today. In the last 6 months, we implemented certain strategies periodically; monthly, and 2 strategies paid well in terms of #revenuegrowth โก In April, we experimented with omnichannel marketing. For starters, it's remaining present and creating multiple touch points with the users. It did show a little increase over our previous benchmarks. However, to sustain that, we also shelled more resources. So before implementing, that's a trade-off you should be ready to make. โก Starting in June, we unleashed the potential of a personalized referral program. This strategy offered upto 25% discount to referred users (capped below COP) while rewarding the referrers with an equal discount. Now the discounts were based on the frequency of transactions, meaning, power users used to get more discounts. A simple code is all that is needed to run on top of your CDP to do it. I guess that did work; as overall volume increased while also growing the user base. In the 2nd method, whatever we saved by not implementing online referral campaigns, we used to run this one. We are now experimenting with making our users the vectors while reducing the overall digital #marketing spend. You'll hear about it in a couple of months if that does work.
