We’re celebrating AWS #PiDay AND the 18th birthday of our first generally available service, Amazon S3! Since it launched, S3 has grown to become the world’s most popular cloud data store with more than 350 trillion objects and now 1 million+ data lakes running on Amazon Web Services (AWS). S3 helps customers innovate quickly and securely with technologies like generative AI. Great to celebrate with the S3 team and Buckets! Check out AWS #PiDay. https://lnkd.in/ddSKw6df
Cheers to S3 on its 18th birthday! Such a reliable workhorse, making data storage a breeze. Happy birthday!
I'm not one to throw a cliché out there very often, but "where would we be without it" comes to mind immediately.
AWS cloud service is the best program in the world. If I get the chance, I would like to work at AWS. 🖥 💻
Happy birthday to the best storage service ever!
I started using aws in 2011 it was better than GCP in 2011. Even then AWS was best option I cloud computing, then came EMR, scale up, and scale down, and SPARK and since then AWS has made a fantastic place 😀
Happy birthday to Amazon S3! 🤩
Today, as we raise our virtual glasses, we toast to your 18 years of service. May your buckets never run dry, and may your objects multiply like rabbits in a digital wonderland. 😊
No wonder why AWS is a dominant global leader in cloud infrastructure services. Keep up the good work 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽
S3 was also my first exposure to AWS and the experience led me to want to work for AWS...and here I am 😀

3moI read somewhere that SQS was the first. Wonder if someone can solve that riddle for me. What it really the first or was it S3? Maybe SQS was the first but S3 was first made available for customers?
