👚 This is another post about Threads. But wait, there's a twist, and it starts with your brand's offline communities...   Threads is cited to be the fastest growing app ever, bolstered by the behemoth that is Meta. But back in the day, Facebook's growth wasn't such an overnight success - it needed strategic planning.   Facebook's ICP was every college-aged person in North America. But Zuk didn't try to reach all of them in one fell swoop. He cultivated communities 🐄 🐄 🐄 He realised the biggest influence on getting people on the platform was other users of the platform, and these users had lots of friends in their local college. So before opening to the masses, he saturated one college, then the next, and then the next, before becoming one of the biggest companies in the world. So what are the parallels for your brand (and Facebook), you're probably asking❓ Community. Your product likely has a large ICP, and I'd guess it's similar to all your competitors. Conventional wisdom (fuelled by those that sell ads!), says you should reach them all... If you have the budget, that's great, but if you don't, you need to reach the ones who will help you grow strategically. And those are the ones who exist in the real-world communities that advocate for your brand. Find these communities, and you're on the path to Zuk levels of growth 📈 #growth #community #success
