Our healthcare client on the East Coast is seeking an experienced Workday Program Manager to guide their team for the next 2+ years as they undergo a Workday implementation project. This contract position would begin in June 2024 and will require up to 50% on-site travel.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the planning and implementation of the Workday ERP system across Finance, HCM, Payroll, SCM, and Adaptive Planning modules.
  • Coordinate and manage project teams, including consultants, analysts, and other IT staff, to ensure timely and within-budget delivery of the project.
  • Serve as the primary liaison between the healthcare client and the Workday implementation teams, facilitating clear and effective communication.
  • Develop and oversee detailed project schedules, including milestones and deliverables, while identifying and mitigating risks throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Manage the project budget, ensuring optimal use of resources and financial compliance.
  • Organize and lead steering committee and stakeholder meetings to report on project progress, decisions, and strategic alignment.
  • Ensure that the Workday implementation meets the specific needs of the healthcare system, including compliance with industry regulations and standards.
  • Provide strategic leadership and support for change management activities to ensure smooth adoption of the new systems within the organization.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in managing large-scale Workday implementations.
  • Strong understanding of healthcare operations and associated financial, human resource, and supply chain processes.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, capable of working effectively with diverse teams and executive stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage complex budgets and timelines.
  • Certifications in Project Management (e.g., PMP) and/or Workday-specific credentials are highly desirable.
