The Opportunity

The Sr. Sales Administrator will function as the main point of support for the company’s Core sales division. Our Core division is a multi-category area covering Men’s/Women’s RTW (Apparel), handbags, shoes, accessories, kids, footwear, etc. The position’s primary focus will be in the areas of administration including reporting, analyzing data, ATS administration and inventory management. The ideal candidate will be a self-motivated retail professional with an innovative business reporting acumen.


Typical Duties

  • Assists the senior management with prepping for sales meetings, providing data reports; ATS , Invoice History, market recaps/comp shops
  • Open Order Profile for category
  • showroom samples; Inventory integrity, appointment set up, transfer between warehouses.
  • product offering recaps, spreadsheets and pivot tables based on current and incoming ATS.
  • Responsible for order entry, customer PO receipts, new account setup, inventory management and account follow-up.
  • Manages in-season POs with accounts including PO breakouts, EDIs, ship windows revisions, proforma invoices, etc.
  • Follows up with accounts regarding delivery and shipment of orders.
  • Provides weekly shipping numbers based on customer orders.
  • Troubleshoots the maintenance needs of ATS system to ensure accuracy.
  • Serves as point of contact between the sales team, buying and warehouse divisions on incoming product flows matching to customer orders.


Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in apparel industry, wholesale and/or off-price is a plus.
  • Strong admin experience working in a sales environment.
  • Advanced excel reporting skills (vlookup, pivot tables, sum/if, formatting, etc.).
  • Must be able to utilize Excel data-dumps to create consistently updatable reports and recommendations.
  • Possess strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Eager, self-starter and quick to learn.
  • RLM training is a plus.
  • Retail math familiarity: Open-to-Buy, Gross Margin, Sell-Through, Markdowns, Inventory metrics.
