Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled WebSphere Administrator for an exciting opportunity with our Public Sector Client. This senior analyst role involves managing and administering agency-specific server applications and web configurations to ensure optimal performance and uptime for multiple applications. Key responsibilities include software installations, configuration, tuning, monitoring, updating, patching, and maintaining deployment scripts. The role also involves assessing issues related to software upgrades and new releases, providing guidance to application development staff on integration, and coordinating software maintenance schedules with peers and vendors across the agency services.

Requirements

• Proven experience in WebSphere Administration.
• Strong expertise in application and middleware software installations, configuration, and tuning.
• Proficient in monitoring, updating, patching, and maintaining deployment scripts.
• Knowledge of software upgrades, new releases, and integration with application development.
• Ability to coordinate software maintenance schedules with peers and vendors.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to ensure application uptime and high performance.
