Job Summary

Our client is looking for a Warehouse/Operations Manager to join their team in Columbus, OH. The role involves overseeing operational safety and compliance programs across the organization, supporting various teams to achieve sales, customer service, and shipping goals. Effective communication skills are essential for instructing and guiding associates. The ideal candidate should uphold integrity, possess strong organizational abilities, and excel in multitasking, self-reliance, and maintaining composure under pressure. They must also champion a safety-focused culture company-wide.

Job Responsibilities: Implement corporate safety initiatives for warehouse, driving, and other safety-sensitive functions. Educate and ensure compliance with OSHA requirements across all company operations. Innovate to reduce costs while maintaining safety, efficiency, and productivity. Submit regular reports to corporate administration on time. Uphold high standards for facility cleanliness and overall representation. Lead safety training and promote a safety-focused culture throughout the organization. Ensure adherence to Company and OSHA regulations for training, inspections, repairs, and maintenance. Manage facility maintenance and coordinate projects with contractors as necessary. Support various projects as required. Directly oversee local personnel including Customer Service Representatives, Warehouse Operators, and Drivers. Train new hires in procedures and safety protocols. Conduct scheduled reviews for warehouse personnel. Develop, train, and motivate the sales center team to achieve operational and budgetary objectives. Approve payroll documentation for hourly staff. Conduct daily morning meetings and other necessary sessions with staff.

Qualifications: Bachelor's degree 7+ years’ experience in warehouse management or fleet management. Experience in managing a staff. Ability to interact with customers and build value-based relationships. Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office Strong initiative, follow-up, desire to succeed, sense of urgency, and positive attitude.
