VP - Operations - Willamette Valley

Key Responsibilities:

Production Strategy and Management:

• Execute production schedules with precision, maximizing resource utilization and meeting stringent delivery timelines.
• Evaluate production processes, instigating improvements and deploying innovative strategies for enhanced efficiency and quality.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to synchronize production plans with supply chain, quality control, and logistics initiatives.

Technical Maintenance Leadership:

• Guide technical maintenance team in upholding the pristine condition and functionality of all machinery and equipment.
• Execute preventive maintenance protocols, minimizing downtime and ensuring peak equipment performance.
• Resolve technical issues, working closely with maintenance personnel to mitigate disruptions to production operations.

Engineering Excellence:

• Lead the engineering department in the strategic introduction of cutting-edge machinery and equipment to elevate production capabilities.
• Guide the evaluation, selection, and seamless integration of new electro-mechanical equipment, liaising with vendors and internal stakeholders.

Operational Prowess:

• Provide industry-leading practices and operational strategies to optimize efficiency, reduce waste, and uphold uncompromising quality standards.
• Support a culture of continuous improvement, championing innovation and identifying opportunities for cost savings and process optimization.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Degree in Electro-Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
• 10 years of progressive experience in operations and production management within the food manufacturing industry.
• Background in electro-mechanical engineering, coupled with a comprehensive understanding of production machinery and equipment.
• Track record of transformative leadership, driving operational excellence, and exceeding production targets.
• Expertise in the introduction of new machinery and technologies to amplify production capabilities.
• Experience in the Food Manufacturing industry is required
