VP - Operations - Willamette Valley
Key Responsibilities:
Production Strategy and Management:
- Execute production schedules with precision, maximizing resource utilization and meeting stringent delivery timelines.
- Evaluate production processes, instigating improvements and deploying innovative strategies for enhanced efficiency and quality.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to synchronize production plans with supply chain, quality control, and logistics initiatives.
Technical Maintenance Leadership:
- Guide technical maintenance team in upholding the pristine condition and functionality of all machinery and equipment.
- Execute preventive maintenance protocols, minimizing downtime and ensuring peak equipment performance.
- Resolve technical issues, working closely with maintenance personnel to mitigate disruptions to production operations.
Engineering Excellence:
- Lead the engineering department in the strategic introduction of cutting-edge machinery and equipment to elevate production capabilities.
- Guide the evaluation, selection, and seamless integration of new electro-mechanical equipment, liaising with vendors and internal stakeholders.
Operational Prowess:
- Provide industry-leading practices and operational strategies to optimize efficiency, reduce waste, and uphold uncompromising quality standards.
- Support a culture of continuous improvement, championing innovation and identifying opportunities for cost savings and process optimization.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Degree in Electro-Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
- 10 years of progressive experience in operations and production management within the food manufacturing industry.
- Background in electro-mechanical engineering, coupled with a comprehensive understanding of production machinery and equipment.
- Track record of transformative leadership, driving operational excellence, and exceeding production targets.
- Expertise in the introduction of new machinery and technologies to amplify production capabilities.
- Experience in the Food Manufacturing industry is required
