Compensation
The compensation target range for this role is:
$275,500 - $290,000
Job Summary
Purple is on a journey to evolve its brand to appeal to new consumer segments, and to expand its product offerings dramatically. To fulfill our destiny, we need a high-energy, driven creative leader who enjoys a fast-paced environment. You will report directly to the Chief Marketing Officer and serve on our Marketing Leadership Team. You will lead all creative efforts across our company, including brand advertising, creative for performance marketing, and in-store materials.
Job Description
Key responsibilities:
Build, mentor, and lead a best-in-class creative team for Purple Innovation, LLC
Direct winning brand and performance creative for our omni-channel business, for ecommerce, owned-retail, and wholesale channels, and for awareness, consideration, and conversion efforts
Deliver all creative: Social advertising, display, television, print, email, point of purchase, out of home, etc.
Collaborate closely with Insights and Innovation/Product Development to identify compelling benefits and effective methods of communicating them consistently across consumer touchpoints.
Partner with owned-retail and wholesale teams to deliver effective creative support, on appropriate timelines.
Form partnerships with Media, Brand & Marketing Strategy, and channel leaders to understand and fulfill creative needs.
Institute transparent process from briefing through delivery.
Choose agencies and other external talent as needed, negotiate agreements, manage production estimates, oversee shoots and other creative work to deliver high-performing creative on time and on budget.
Communicate creative results to creative team to identify and repeat best practices.
Work closely with Financial Planning & Analysis to manage creative budgets.
Qualifications
15+ years of creative leadership in a B2C business
Should have led creative in a company that has both a retail presence and an ecommerce business
Must have produced television advertisements and have deep experience creating high performing advertising for digital channels, including Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest, TikTok, Snap, Google display, and email
Experience building creative teams from the ground up, identifying and mentoring top talent.
Adept at identifying, choosing, and managing external agencies.
